In 1999, Ken began working part-time at Hottmann while still a college student. He eventually became a full-time employee and has held a wide range of positions over the years, including laborer, finisher, foreman, and field supervisor. In 2009, Ken became president and co-owner of Hottmann.
Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from UW-Stevens Point. He is active in the Concrete Foundations Association as board member and member of the executive committee. Ken is also a past board member and treasurer of the Madison Area Builders Association
Ken’s community involvement includes serving as a sponsor and planning committee member for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Swinging for a Cure event. He’s also involved with several charitable organizations in the Dane County area, including Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Outside of Hottmann, you can find Ken enjoying the company of his family or golfing.
