Hottmann Construction is a locally owned full service concrete contractor serving south central Wisconsin since 1948. We are experienced in residential foundations and flatwork to complex commercial buildings. We also have experience with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) construction to any type of decorative concrete. When working with us you will have a quality team on site using high quality products and keeping your projects on time and within budget.  We are nationally recognized by the National Assoc. of Home builders for our Quality Assurance System. Out team is comprised of experienced veteran personnel and newer team members looking to make concrete their career.

Our History:

Our companies beginning dates back to 1948 when Jim’s father Marvin Hottmann and his brother Harvey started in the concrete business doing concrete farm silos.  Together they grew the business to included residential and commercial concrete projects. They started out in Middleton, WI and then moved to Madison in 1958.

Our Team:

Ken Kurszewski, President:  Ken began working with the company in 1999 and in 2009 became co-owner with Brad Williamson.   Ken started out working summers while attending college.  He earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, his home town.  Ken currently lives in Madison with his wife Veronica.

Brad Williamson, Vice President-Operations:  Brad is responsible for scheduling projects and equipment to make sure everything is done to our customer’s expectations. He is now co-owner, and has been with the company since 1987. Brad was born and raised in the Waunakee area and lives there today with his wife Aurora and their children Alison and Colten.

Michael Thole, Vice President-Estimating: In 1992, Mike joined the company. While working the field, Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee with a bachelor of science in Architecture in 1995.  Mikes main duties are overseeing the estimating and purchasing for the company.  He lives in Belleville, WI with his wife Kristina and two sons Trevor and Zachary.

James Hottmann:  Jim is the former President of HCC and continues to work with the team in several areas. He started in the business at an early age working summers for his father though high school and college. He has a degree in business for the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He was born and raised in the Madison area and currently lives in Fitchburg, WI.  

Lynn Bryant, Office Manager:  Lynn has been with the company since 2001. She lives in Verona with her husband Fred and their two children Karli and Jackson.
